The RiverCity Boppers ("BOPpers") is a Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac enthusiasts club that has one cardinal rule-- have fun! The only secondary rule is that members' cars must be 15 years old, or older.
They are located in the Evansville, Indiana, Tri-State area, having formed in the summer of 2004. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at the Evansville Police Dept. East Precinct station house from 7:00 to approx. 8:30 pm. At the meeting discussions range from car talk, to auto legislation impacting the hobby, to coming club cruises, outings, and other events. Visitors are welcome!
The "political" structure of this club is unique. Each car marque, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac has a "Boss BOP" assuring equal voice in club decisions.
