Looking for the passenger side outer grill specifically, or a complete set.

These are rarer than hen's teeth today. I am experiencing the same with my '40 Pontiac. There are just no more old Pontiac parts dealers around today, and if they were, these sort of items are probably long gone already.

I can only suggest monitoring E-Bay day and night on the off chance something might show up.

As a shot in the dark, try Desert Valley Auto Parts in AZ, or French Lake and Windy Hill both in MN.

Thanks for the heads-up. This one looks pretty beat up with broken bars, etc.

I have a good one that I had replated many years ago (before they got to $1000.00 per side). I have cleaned it up real well and just for grins painted with a rubberized metallic black. Also did one of my hood stripes to match. When the car gets out of the paint shop I will see how it looks.

I also have a reproduction aluminum grille set- probably the only very good quality one I have ever seen. It is in very nice shape with no pitting, etc. and I am thinking about polishing it like crazy and just clear coating. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a bit smaller than an original- which happens when a mold is made and then a casting from the new mold (they get smaller). I don't think anyone would notice where it doesn't overlap as much at the bottom.
