I have a 1940 Pontiac Arrow. The Canadian made version of the Silver streak I believe. It was made with a Chevy engine and chassis. Does anyone know what transmission was put in these things? It’s a 3 on the tree. I can’t seem to find any casting numbers on it either.

Since it most likely used a Chevy transmission, try contacting the place shown below.

"Chevy Supply of Assonet offers a great selection of vintage Chevy car transmissions that will meet the needs of most classic Chevy auto restoration projects or classic Chevy car transmission overhauls. We have vintage Chevy automatic transmissions, and 3-speed & 4-speed manual transmissions in stock."

BTW, does your car have a Chevy "enclosed" driveline (torque tube)?
