I have a '64 GP with tri-power, the long rod, with ball stud attachments, attaches to the firewall accelerator linkage bracket to the center carb throttle arm. These two attach points for the rod are not in line with each other and are 2-3 inches staggered from one another with the rod attached and when looking at it from the front of the engine bay, the rod is at a 20- 30 degree angle. When the accelerator is depressed It's pulling the throttle arm with a side load making the accelerator seem stiff. Anybody have any info If this is the correct setup, should the rod be bent, Is the accelerator linkage different for the tri-power ?????? Any info would greatly be appreciated
