Hi All, what brake fluid type would be a good substitute to the Pontiac-recommended Delco Supreme II or any SAE 70R3 fluid? It is almost impossible to find these in Italy Confused Would any DOT 3 or 4 do?
I have a 1965 Bonneville.

Use only good quality DOT 3 in your '65.

Thanks for the advice! Does color of the fluid matter?

Color doesn't matter. DOT 3 is a poly glycol base product and is most often clear. However, sometimes color is added to make leak detection easier. For that reason it is also available in Pale Yellow, Blue & Crimson Red. Dot 3 brake fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and should be changed every couple of years.
