Why do I have trouble finding parts for this car? Most places don't even list a Grand Lemans for 1975. I have one with around 85,000 actual miles that runs & drives great. Confused

Why difficulty.....? Because it's 40 years old. And in automotive terms, that's about 10 times too old to still have parts around for.

Fortunately, there are people who have parts for the older cars... but unfortunately, the '70s cars are only now beginning to come up in collecability, and, to make matters worse, your's is a very unusual car in the scheme of things.

Don't give up though, there are ways to keep all the older cars going, and that is why we are here to try to help.

What parts are you looking for? Many mechanical parts are the same or interchangeable across the lines for many years. If it is Grand Lemans specific trim pieces, good luck. The best option might be boneyards. Local yards would be doubtful, but there are some large one if you Google them, or check Hemmings, etc. As an owner of a 1970 Bonneville Convertible for 35 years, I understand the problem.
