Door Lock Pillar Seals (AKA “U-Jamb Seals”) are vitally important to the smooth operation of rear quarter window assemblies, keeping debris and excess moisture out of quarter panel areas, and making a good solid seal of the upper part of your car door. Yet the friction caused by many years of lowering and raising rear quarter windows and opening/closing doors causes normal wear and tear. And of course time and sunlight also play a role in the eventual breakdown of these critical seals.

Metro Moulded Parts, Inc, has just unveiled their new Door Lock Pillar Seals for 1971 to 1973 GM “B”, “C” and “E” body cars; including coupe, convertible, and hardtop models. Produced in Metro’s own USA factory, these new Gold Series™ seals are made with brand new 2014 tooling and from durable EPDM rubber, with stainless steel cores included. They come with a 15-year full replacement guarantee.

Applications: Buick LeSabre (Custom, Custom LeSabre) / Centurion / Electra (225, 225 Custom, 225 Custom Limited) / Riviera; Cadillac Calais / DeVille; Chevrolet Impala / Caprice; Oldsmobile Delta 88 (Custom Royale) / 98 / Toronado (Brougham); Pontiac Catalina (Brougham) / Bonneville / Grand Ville.
