1964 Pontiac Grand Prix, originally white with nice red interior, now black outside. Was 389, automatic, PS, PB, tilt, factory air with rear window defroster and 8 lug wheels. When I purchased, had a 66 421 with a Turbo 400, which is why I bought the car. After robbing the engine, I realized how nice the car was however the trunk floor and frame were bad from sitting in tall grass for 20+ years in St. Louis. The trunk floor was replaced with a repro unit and I had a mint 64 GP frame sitting here. I had the frame sandblased and I painted the frame and installed under the car. There were two small areas of rust on the quarter and they were repaired as well. Front clip is mint. The car showed up minus the front bumper and had a Catalina/Bonneville bumper on the rear. Correct GP bumpers come with the car. The fuel tank was shot as well, however an original was sent to Re-Nu and done with a new sender and comes wit the car. I will toss in the Turbo 400 trans (which was adapted to work with the console shifter) and the correct driveshaft. All you need is some time and a good Pontiac engine to get her back on the road. Has a clear MO title. 8 lugs were turned and repainted. New frame cushions are in place. Also have new fuel and brakes lines for the car, but have not installed. Body is just sitting on the frame at this time. Stored inside in the Twin Cities area. Can help with shipping. $4,500 FIRM. Contact Les at 651-280-9681 or email me at killerbob33@aol.com |
