First weekend of October. Great race and a very friendly atmosphere. Help support these Pontiac events.

Great conference before race day. Always have entertaining guest speakers.

Great racing program.

Good car show.

I have additional info posted on the site.

Need to have strong turn out this year.

I will ask her Bruce. She will probably get a kick out of it. Mrs. Wilhite is a good racer. She does pretty good in her big '58.

The Wilhite's are some very good people. My friend Scott and I have always tried to attend their race. Very nice people and down to earth. We had a good conversation at Tulsa wit hthem this year.

I try to help spread the word for the mere fact it is a fun event and a great program. Word by mouth has always been the best form of advertising. Hope they have record attendance.

My father had the same type of affect on racers in the 70's. When the 380(1958 370) 4-speed Tempest left, it generally scared the hell out of the competition. That engine turned some high RPM's and done some huge wheelstands. Wish I would have been carrying around a camera when I was about 6 and knew how to use it. I do have a few good pictures my mother took. BIG wheelies and the other lane had the "red" bulb symptom most of the time.

Do you have some good wheelstand pictures you can post on the site of your car? Like to see them.
