Very Happy, Well, I've gone and done it. This afternoon I bought that 1939 Pontiac Sloper. It's as good as the photos show and runs as quiet as a church mouse, which is a bit surprising to me. Now I just have to get it back to Newcastle.

Cheers,
Ross.

Smile, My '39 Pontiac is on its way south. I received a text message on my mobile this afternoon confirming that it's on the transporter and enroute to Brisbane. Once it's reached the Brisbane depot it will be loaded onto another transporter for the trip to Sydney and then onto another transporter for the trip up to Newcastle. Apparently the transporter from Brisbane passes around Newcastle in the middle of the night so it goes to Sydney first then back to Newcasle during the daytime.

Regards,
Ross.

So I'm guessing you'll be taking your meals at the end of the driveway for the next couple of days. Has to be exciting!

Keep us posted.

Smile, Yes Larry, just have to dust off the old barbeque and put up a small tent in the driveway. The car (Holden Adventra) can live out on the street for a little while. LOL. I am excited about getting the car home anad having a really good look at it. This project and the opportuntiy to preserve an old Pontiac is a real honour for me. The main work to be done is the respray and a little work on the upolstery. Can't wait to get her home.

Regards,
Ross.

Smile, Let's see here. I have some pics of my Pontiac floating around inside this laptop somewhere. Just have to find them.
