Wanted to see if any of you guys have pictures of classic Pontiacs in racing action. Pictures from the 50's, 60's, 70's and even 80's.

NHRA?

IHRA?

AHRA?

I really enjoy the early nostalgic pictures.

Thanks.

If anyone is looking for a pristine racing Pontiac, then look no further - I have a 1954 Pontiac Star Chief with a corvette V8 engine - this thing is smoking!!!! Take a look at the attached photo.

Too bad it is not powered by a traditional Pontiac engine.

I know - unfortunately the original engine could not attain freeway speeds and the original tires were unsafe at freeway speeds - however now it's not only a daily driver but a supreme racing vehicle - I've brought it to parades as well as racing tracks. Now, just looking for a good home for my baby:)
