I am performing research for an article on luggage that was offered by a company called PLV, Inc. of Royal Oak, Michigan, through Pontiac dealers for the Fiero. I have very little information and can not find, or find out anything about PLV, Inc. If you have information about the luggage; if you have or had the luggage; or if you have information regarding PLV, Inc., please respond at this forum and I'll make arrangements for us to make contact. Thank you. _________________ |

A Google search doesn't come up with anything, but have you checked with the state? In Florida we have an on-line search into the Division of Corporations that has helped me many times in busines with small court claims (gotta sue the right person or endity).
I did a Google search of "Michigan Division of Corporations" and found a lot of stuff, none of which looked like our Florida site. But, it might be there and I didn't see it, or available through some other source (besides on-line).
The neat thing about these records if they are available to the public is that they usually cover a lot of years back even showing defunct companies.
Keep us posted on the hunt. |

Thanks for the luggage information. Yes, I have a 1985 Fiero Sport Coupe that was the February calendar car here at the Registry. I am the original owner. My car has over 104,000 miles, is unrestored and still can win a trophy at car shows now and then.
I am also an early member of the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts (NIFE), despite the fact that I do not live in Illinois anymore (I'm in SE Michigan). NIFE is the largest Fiero club in the world. I contribute to the Fiero Focus newsletter. I also have contributed to the Smoke Signals magazine when Larry was editor and I will be contributing to this Registry.
In 2008, the Michigan Fiero Club is hosting a 25th Anniversary Celebration in Pontiac, Michigan. I attended the 20th Anniversary Celebration, which was really well attended and really well organized. You should consider attending, as it will probably be the largest Fiero gathering in the country in 2008. _________________ |

You're welcome for the info and yes, the 25th celebration is already on my calendar. We (my wife and I) plan to be there with our Fiero. I can't wait! |
