After months of trying to unseize the engine with no luck. We figure we would take it out and rebuild it over the winter in the shop. Its a Pontiac straight-8 engine is an inline eight-cylinder from a 1954.

I am looking for a parts list for these engines? Currently we are just taking pictures and making notes as we remove things. I would like to have something to reference for when we start putting it all back together.

Refresh my memory... is that the hearse? If so, I believe I sent you the Shop manual which should have everything you need for the rebuild. It won't have part numbers, but that doesn't matter. Probably everything you will need mechanically is available from Northwestern Auto Supply in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Places like Kanter also have most these parts.

hey Larry,

Yes I do have the shop manual, which has been really helpful. But I was hoping for more details on the engine.
