1988 TransAm GTA Firebird

1988 Trans Am GTA small block 305 which is the high side and which is the low side? Left is low?
Just want to check before I charge the system.

About two years ago when I was building the A/C system to put in my '40 Pontiac (with '74 Trans Am 400 engine), I could have recited this stuff off the top of my head. Not as sure now with passage of time.

for a very good description of charging your A/C system.

As in most every high vs. low pressure systems, the low pressure is nearly always the larger of the two hoses. Never try to charge the high pressure side... that can is like a bomb and can really hurt you.
