Need to know location and how to on changing the actuator for the heat blend door/water valve actuator. Vehicle is 1998 Bonneville SSEI with climate control. Would be nice to be able to turn off the heat so that in theory the A/C compressor should be able to cycle. Then move on from there to get the A/C operational.

If you're blend door actuator is working (don't quite understand), but you just want to be able to shut off the heat (seems the A/C isn't working too...?) why not look for the heater water control valve and either disconnect the cable pulling it open, of if necessary cut and join the hoses together to bypass altogether.

If that blend door, etc. is like most newer cars, they are a bear to get to.
