Where can find the specs for particular vin. number I'm new to the site.
I just acquired a 1974 lemans 2 door hard top with factory 4 gear and 400 4bbl carb. The 2nd Number in the vin is a D which I believe makes it's manufacturing plant Oshawa Ontario. But wondering where I can get the Original specs. for the car. When I go to the gm site. it will not accept the Vin.
Because its not 17 characters long

Thanks

Your VIN should be 13 numbers long.

The 2nd number is the series: D= LeMans

If you send me the VIN (if you don't wish to post it), I will decode it for you).

You can send via Private Message, or e-mail: info@pontiacregistry.com.
