1964 Convertible Bonneville

PostPosted: Wed Jun 21, 2017 1:07 pm    Post subject: '64 Convertible Top Reply with quote

the glue has come un done on the top rail of my convertible. where it's glued to the top and screwed into the rail. took it back to installer, he called Manufacturer they said to use silicone adhesive. we both knew that wouldn't work. so he used a heavy duty glue they use at their interior shop. it lasted about a year. it came undone this last weekend. the car looks like a Hot Air Balloon driving down the road. i'm afraid it's just going to rip to shreds. the top is 7 yrs.old. i don't want to replace the whole top because of a strip of glue. any Suggestions on how i can fix . Thanks in Advance
