Would anyone have, a set of drawings/dimensions for the inner wood structure for a 1930 pontiac coupe, or any good ideas on how to replicate the A/B pillars?
thanks...................Richard

While there don't seem to be people/shops making Pontiac wood kits, I have heard of people having success with the very early Pontiacs by contacting some of the Chevrolet wood making companies.

I haven't searched them out for a long time, but bet a Google search would generate some leads. Some advertise in Hemmings too.

The same is true for early Pontiac interior kits. There is some cross-over between the Pontiacs and Chevrolets.

I'll try to do some further research into it when I get a spare moment.

I too just acquired a 1930 coupe and asked the same questions. There is a Fisher Body Service Manual for "Closed Cars" that is out in reproduction. I was able to find both an original print and the repop -- its extremely helpful. I checked every wood vendor out there and many will do it if you can send your old wood to them to be used as a pattern. But if its too decayed or missing completely you are screwed I think.

That said, I have had some luck finding original wood parts and have a few duplicates. What year is your car? I do not have A/B pillars -- mostly dash and windshield top area parts

Bill
