So My witty friends, what year Pontiacs used the same Seperator as the 38?
Don't be shy, I won't laugh! Also did other GM products share this part?
Thanks

That's a new one for me. What is it? Haven't run across that name in any of my '40 stuff.

Larry, It sits above the distributer and directs the plug wires/seperator, it attaches to the block. Not sure of correct terminalogy,,,You got an extra?

Oh, that thing!

I don't know if I have one buried somewhere. Most us car guys are like squirrels... they say a squirrel really doesn't remember where he buried the nuts, just buried so many he is bound to find one now and then, but I'll do some checking in the boxes.

If it helps, they are the same from 1935-1940 (and maybe even beyond, but my parts book only goes up to 1940).

The bracket is PN 497560 and the block (qty. 2) is PN404438.
