Hello,
Brand new to the registry. I am looking to buy a trans am and have the vin, I tried decodethis.com but it shows as unrecognizable. Is there somewhere out there that I can find a breakdown of what the car color, interior, engine, trans.....etc. that originally came from the factory from the vin? The door sticker is missing.
Thank you!

VIN will not tell anything about accessories. You will need the build sheet or original invoice/window sticker. Check with Pontiac Historical Services.

If the vin shows un recognizable you may have read the vin wrong or transposed a number or made one of the number into a letter. But if the vin is there it will only tell you what the car is not any options. You'll have to get that info from PHS.
