If you are a lover of "long roofs" check this link to a neat slide show http://www.flickr.com/photos/fiskj7602/sets/72157630258473478/show/

It is from the recent convention of the International Station Wagon Club. While you will see lots of great old station wagons, there are plenty for the Pontiac lovers too. The successful convention was once again part of the efforts of Pontiac lovers Steve and Beth Peluso of MA. Steve is our Automatic Transmission Tech Advisor.

As a side note, I started the "Great American Station Wagon Owners Association" many years ago, and (unfortunately) due to lack of time had to end the club after a couple of years. It was the typical "nobody to help syndrome." However, another fellow asked if he could pick it up and from that small beginning this newly named organization grew. My congratulations to their success.

Larry , I know this is an old post but I've been a wagon fan for a long time. I guess since 68 when my mom & dad got the 68 Plymouth sport satellite wagon. This was not the 1st wagon but the 1st. I really liked. I've had a couple of them since. I really want a 73 Pontiac LeMans wagon that I can make in to a GT or GTO wagon with the NASA hood with a hood tach but I'd leave the bench seat but I'd make it a 4spd. with a bench seat. I've got a lot of the parts to do it with now but I have to find a car & then get rich so i can buy it. LOL. I'd want it to have A/C to. That or a 65 wagn to make the same way . Hard to find though.

I have a 73 GTO that I bought new, well it was a demo because the car I ordered was an SD car which never came in & i had to take what was left because I was in the Navy & had to talk to the dealer when I could.
