2006 10th Annual Trans Am Nationals
August 2006 saw Trans Ams, and a host of other Pontiacs, descend on Kil-Kare Raceway in sleepy Xenia, Ohio (just outside of Dayton) for another day of all out racing. Nobody was caught napping there on this day! Host, Bruce Fulper, of Rock and Roll Engineering in Grand Terrace, California, takes us through the day as the Pontiac activities progressed.

2011 Jim Wangers' 85th Birthday Celebration
There's "Happy Birthday" and then there's "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"
This is the second version. And it was a well deserved celebration for one of Pontiac's most well-known spokesmen- GTO Jim Wangers. 85 years young- the same age as Pontiac... some things were just meant to be, you know.
All our best wishes go to Jim on this big occasion, and even more "Thank Yous" for all he has done for Pontiac, the car, and Pontiac, the hobby.

2013 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee
Once again the Dana Mecum group put on another fantastic car extravaganza in Kissimmee just outside of Orlando. They were shooting for a 3000 car world record, and darn near made it. Not to worry though, as each year has grown, this should be a no-brainer for 2014.
Each year tends to be a barometer of the car hobbyplace, especially as we follow the Pontiac corner of it. This year revealed things about the hobby and its direction once again.
Enjoy this Mecum review, especially the cars in all their splendor. And if you're ever longing for a trip to sunny Florida in January, this is a good enough reason alone. The sun, sand, water, and more is just a bonus.
See you in 2014!

2015 Pontiac US Nationals- Bowling Green, Kentucky
It's difficult to get a new racing event of the ground, but the first Pontiac US Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky was a success, with great weather and equally great Pontiac racing action. Not to many years ago there were Pontiac events in much greater numbers. Sadly, most have disappeared. Let's all support this new event. It is in a perfect part of the country to draw lots of racers and spectators, and it is run by great Pontiac people who are deeply involved in the Pontiac racing community. Watch for the 2016 dates.

American Built Cars in Great Britain
If the old car hobby ever could use some good news, the fact that American built cars are ever popular and sought after in Europe is some good news we are needing. If we complain about maintaining our old Pontiacs in the good old U.S.of A. can you imagine the dedication need to do the same overseas?
Here we enjoy an article about many different American cars on tour in England and their culmination at our long-time Pontiac friend Graham Webber's home for a garden party display. An all Pontiac location is a great way to end an event.
