1965 GTO

Is this the good old days, or what?

Doesn't it seem that back in the '60s when cars like this '65 GTO coupe were tearing up the 1/4-mile stretches across the country that the average gearhead could more closly relate to the cars than today? You could actually "picture" your car (the one sitting in the parking lot) out there with this one after a few tweaks (OK, a lot of tweaks!). Today's thin-shell bubbles, while quite a feat of engineering, just don't have the home-spun feel any longer.

This photo was one just lying around in the files with no history. From the looks of the fellow's haircut next to it (not a hair out of place, by the way!), and the two guys leaning on the broom behind, it appears to be "period correct". Any info on this "Warrior" from our viewers?
